About Us

Amy Dawson is a licensed practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, specializing in acupuncture and healing with natural herbs.  A graduate of Five Branches Institute in Santa Cruz, she has been in private practice in Chico since 2004.  Amy has experience treating such issues as chronic pain, insomnia, headaches, colds, sinus problems, anxiety, and depression, as well as offering therapy in immune system support and hormonal imbalances.  She lives with her husband and Lucy, their Border Collie mix, on their ten-acre organic walnut orchard, and has two grown sons, one who, with his wife, has recently blessed the family with a granddaughter.  She enjoys bike touring, reading, hiking with her dog, and on occasion, drifting down the Sacramento River in her canoe.
